01

Use AI to organize what you already know

Give an AI assistant a non-sensitive list of recipients, priorities, budget ranges and must-buy items. Ask it to separate must-buy, nice-to-have and skip-for-now. Tell it to mark missing facts rather than guessing.

02

Ask for gift directions before product claims

Describe interests, what the person already owns, the budget and anything to avoid. Ask for categories such as useful, sentimental, experience, funny and splurge. Treat specific current product prices or availability as unverified until you check the retailer.

03

Compare exact information you provide

Paste verified model names, specifications, bundle contents and seller details for two or three products. Ask for a tradeoff table against your priorities. Then return to the original sources to confirm the comparison.

04

Let AI help plan the day

Provide the actual stores or places the group wants to visit, the meet-up time, meal preferences and a desired non-shopping stop. Ask for a low-stress sequence with buffer time. Verify current hours, traffic, stock and local conditions separately.

05

Use AI for the fun creative layer

Generate original squad names, matching-shirt slogans, scavenger prompts, playlist themes, gift-exchange ideas, or photo challenges. Avoid asking it to imitate protected logos, retailer marks or copyrighted characters.

06

Use real memories for the recap

Afterward, provide only the captions, notes or voice-note transcripts the group wants to use. Ask AI to organize them into a recap without inventing dialogue, places, purchases or events that did not happen.

Put a little thought into a little plan.

Keep your gift ideas and budget together.
